A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

I am a lifelong mover by trade, hobby, and language.

Based in Brooklyn, NY, I offer yoga, movement, and dance classes and workshops and massage therapy sessions.

I began my dance training at the Toledo Ballet and the Toledo School for the Arts, and I later attended the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City on scholarship. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in 2018 with a BFA in Ballet. While completing my degree, I studied ballet and modern at the Beijing Dance Academy and graduated from the Alonzo King LINES Ballet | Training Program. I have performed and choreographed as a freelance artist in San Francisco and New York City and taught classes and workshops for Toledo Ballet, the Teens@LINES program at Alonzo King LINES Ballet, Bay Area Ballet Conservatory, ALDEN MOVES Dance Theatre, and UCLA Ballet Company.

I began practicing yoga while dancing in San Francisco and New York, and I completed my 200-hr teacher training at YogaWorks in Brooklyn. I went on to study Massage Therapy at Orion Institute.

I specialize in working with clients who have scoliosis and other spinal conditions, using tools from my extensive movement background to help them gain mobility, strength, postural improvement and confidence.

I have experience working with diverse populations, from beginners in their 60’s and 70’s to professional dancers. My sessions focus on strength and mobility, beginner instruction, sustainable practice plans, and body awareness to help my clients integrate their practice outside of sessions.⁣ I work with clients 1-on-1 or in duets at the Brooklyn Mindbody Collective in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

I hope to create spaces for others seeking a refuge for self-study through movement and breath, and I believe that observing sensation is the first step in listening to ourselves.
