A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

I am a lifelong mover, both by trade and passion, with a specialized focus on therapeutic massage and movement practices.

Based in Brooklyn, NY, I offer yoga, movement, and dance classes and workshops and massage therapy sessions.

I offer customized massages that incorporate myofascial release, stretching, and other techniques designed to facilitate recovery, enhance mobility, and relieve chronic tension. My bodywork is especially beneficial for conditions such as persistent back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, muscle strains, joint stiffness, spinal conditions, and chronic pain conditions like fibromyalgia or arthritis. I work holistically to address the root causes of discomfort, helping alleviate symptoms of overuse, physical injury, and long-term pain. I support clients managing chronic conditions such as autoimmune disorders and pain syndromes by tailoring my techniques to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and manage pain.

I am also a registered yoga instructor specializing in working with individuals with an interest in building a sustainable and personalized movement practice. I integrate my multifaceted movement background with restorative techniques and self-massage education to help clients achieve improved mobility, strength, and relaxation. I have worked with diverse populations, from children to beginners in their 60s and 70s to professional dancers, customizing each session to meet individual needs. My sessions are designed to improve body awareness, empowering clients to integrate mindful movement and self-care into their daily lives.

I began my dance training at the Toledo Ballet and the Toledo School for the Arts, and I later attended the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City on scholarship. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in 2018 with a BFA in Ballet. While completing my degree, I studied ballet and modern at the Beijing Dance Academy and graduated from the Alonzo King LINES Ballet | Training Program. I have performed and choreographed as a freelance artist in San Francisco and New York City and taught classes and workshops for Toledo Ballet, the Teens@LINES program at Alonzo King LINES Ballet, Bay Area Ballet Conservatory, ALDEN MOVES Dance Theater, and UCLA Ballet Company.

I began practicing yoga while dancing professionally in San Francisco and New York, and I later completed my 200-hr yoga teacher training at YogaWorks in Brooklyn. I went on to study Massage Therapy at Orion Institute. Through my work, I aim to create spaces where individuals can find relief from pain, manage chronic conditions, receive support during injury recovery, and develop a deeper understanding of their bodies. I believe that observing sensation and tuning into one’s body is the first step toward healing and lasting well-being.
